Amber Bauer started her state career with the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations, Division of Workers’ Compensation in 2008. After starting as a Senior Office Support Assistant with the Division’s Self-Insurance Unit, she held various positions with the DWC, including working for the Chief Legal Counsel and aiding in requirements gathering for the beginning stages of the Division's modernization program. In 2019, Amber left the Department to work for the Office of State Courts Administrator as a Business Analyst, where she worked on the functional design and developed technical requirements for the court's new case management system. She returned to the DWC in 2022 as the Program Manager of the Enterprise Functions Unit of the Division of Workers’ Compensation. In her current role, Amber oversees a team that supports functions division-wide by providing data analytics, statistical reporting, program management, training, organizational change management, and process improvement guidance. Amber graduated from Columbia College with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.
