Scott serves as the Manager of the Security Audit and Compliance Unit, CJIS Division for the MSHP. In this role, he is responsible for ensuring compliance with the FBI CJIS Security Policy and providing cybersecurity assistance to law enforcement agencies across the state. He began employment with the MSHP in November 2015. Previously, he served 26 years with the United States Marine Corps with multiple deployments in Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. Scott retired from the Marine Corps in 2014 as a Lieutenant Colonel.
