Bio

Christine joined the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education’s Office of Childhood in August 2021 and is currently a Child Care Regulations Section Program Manager. In this role, she leads a team that helps childcare providers meet background checks, director certification, and program evaluation requirements. She also supports the compliance team with systems, training, and development of rules and procedures. Christine has worked for the State of Missouri for the past 20 years, serving children and families in various roles. She is passionate about ensuring children grow and thrive in safe, supportive environments. Christine earned a master’s degree in social work from the University of Missouri in 2014, focusing on policy, planning, and administration.
