Matt joined the Department of Social Services in February 2021 and serves as the State Victim Liaison in the Director’s Office. Matt provides leadership for statewide networking to achieve effective interaction with state and community leaders aimed toward improving service provisions and increasing access to resources for victims of violent crime. Prior to his current role with the state, Matt served as an investigator at the Attorney General’s Office and was a subject matter expert for Missouri law enforcement on human trafficking laws. Prior to his tenure with the state, Matt worked in law enforcement for nearly 20 years in the capacities of 911 dispatcher, police officer, sergeant, and lieutenant. Matt holds a Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice-Forensic Psychology from Liberty University.
