Bio

Katie joined the Department of Revenue in December 2020 and currently serves as an Associate Research Data Analyst in the General Counsel’s Office. In this role, Katie works with leadership to develop meaningful metrics that help track the health of the division and assist in developing the new case management software for GCO, translating business needs to software design. Katie is relied on in her position for many process improvement projects, for example, assisting her peers last year in developing a Show-Me Challenge, which was chosen as a finalist, and also being part of a larger, department-wide team that reviews QPS survey results and develops initiatives to help improve the Customer and team member experience. Katie is currently working on her second bachelor’s degree, a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, and is Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certified.
