Tanner Stephenson has worked for the State of Missouri for the past eleven years. As the Director of Self-Directed Supports with the Department of Mental Health, he establishes the vision and strategic directions of the Self-Directed Supports Program. Self-Directed Supports provides individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities more choice and control over their needed support. Tanner’s experience and expertise extend beyond the Mental Health industry and include Economic Development and Taxation. He previously served as a Fiscal Analyst for the Joint Committee on Legislative Research and held various positions for the Department of Revenue. Tanner graduated from Columbia College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and minors in Economics and Management.
