Zeshan has been the director of the economic and workforce research unit in the division of performance and strategy since July 2021. He manages a team of research and data analysts who maintain and update Missouri’s labor market information (LMI) portal as part of the Missouri Economic Research Information Center (MERIC). MERIC publishes data, reports, briefs, dashboards, visualizations, and info graphs about Missouri’s economy, industry, workforce, and labor market. Zeshan holds a terminal degree in mining engineering and a Master of Science in mining, engineering management, and information science and technology.
