Clay is the Warden at Northeast Correctional Center in Bowling Green, Missouri. NECC is a medium security prison that holds up to 2000 offenders. Clay, as the CAO, is responsible for overseeing all aspects and the facility's overall operations. NECC employs roughly 580 staff members. Clay began his career in 1998 as a Corrections Officer I and was promoted through the custody ranks from Sergeant, Lieutenant, Captain, Major, and Deputy Warden. Clay was on the past E-Squad for over ten years and was on Team # 2 C-Star tactical team for four years. Clay is highly active in Special Olympics and the Corrections Peace Officer Foundation.
