Bio

Tavonna is the Human Relations Officer for the Department of Health and Senior Services. She is responsible for investigating complaints from DHSS employees and clients with the goal of resolution. In addition, she oversees position maintenance and classification for DHSS, and provides guidance and support to the DHSS leadership team and all DHSS team members. Tavonna has been a team member with the State of Missouri for nearly 10 years, starting her public service career with the Department of Social Services before joining DHSS in 2019. Prior to joining the state, she was a private sector manager for nearly 12 years. Tavonna earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, with an emphasis in Human Resources and Management.
