Emily Parks has worked for the Missouri Department of Revenue for 9 years and currently serves as the Administrator of the Income Tax Bureau. The bureau consists of the Quality Review section, which is responsible for manually reviewing income tax returns; the Refunds and Returned Mail section, which is responsible for managing the refund process and researching and correcting addresses for returned mail; the Correspondence section, which is responsible for corresponding with individuals, accountants, and businesses regarding their income tax accounts, and the Discovery section that utilizes various resources to verify that taxpayers are in tax compliance. Prior to her current role, Emily served as the Administrative Manager over the Correspondence section.
