Bio

Amy joined the Missouri Department of Higher Education & Workforce Development in 2018. In her current role, she is the Policy Analyst in Compliance for the State Student Financial Assistance Program in the Office of Operations. She analyzes federal and state statutes, regulation, and guidance for impact on state student financial aid programs, as well as interpretive guidance. Additionally, she drafts policy documents, oversight testing, user guides, press releases, program forms, and presentations. She also collaborates on business specifications and administrative rules for state aid programs and reviews the institutional administration of state aid programs for compliance with federal and state statutes and regulations. Amy graduated from the University of Missouri in Columbia and earned a Master of Arts in History from Texas A&M University-Central Texas in Killeen.
