Jim Nugent, Director of the Missouri Veterans Cemetery Program. The Missouri Veterans Cemetery Program, one of 3 key programs within the Missouri Veterans Commission, provides a final resting place with honor for Missouri's Heroes. In his 10 years with the Missouri Veterans Commission, Jim has also served as a Veterans Service officer and Veterans Cemetery Director at Jacksonville. Jim has received multiple awards for his outstanding service to Veterans. Jim is a 1987 graduate of Glendale High School in Springfield and a 1996 graduate of Northeast Missouri State University in Kirksville where he received a BA Degree in History/International Studies. Jim served 6 years in the U.S. Marine Corps and 5 years in the Army National Guard. Jim's previous career experience has been in management and sales with several awards for professionalism, sales, and customer service excellence.
