Katie has over 16 years of experience in Missouri state government and is the Finance Programs Manager for the Missouri Development Finance Board. In this role, she manages critical public finance initiatives, including program marketing, stakeholder outreach, and financial reporting, while presenting high-impact economic development projects to the Board for approval. Her collaborative approach has fostered partnerships with public and private entities to drive economic growth, infrastructure development, and job creation across the state. Before joining MDFB, Katie spent nine years at the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services, where she served as Chief of the Office of Epidemiology, leading data-driven strategies to tackle public health challenges. Her state career began in 2008 at the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, where she administered USDA child nutrition programs for Missouri schools. Katie holds a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from Missouri State University and a Master of Business Administration from Columbia College.
