Katie Long has been with the Department of Health and Senior Services since 2015. She currently serves as the Public Health Program Manager for the Office of Epidemiology where she manages the Operations and Surveillance Unit. Katie oversees several surveillance systems that collect data on health conditions, behaviors, and outcomes that are imperative for setting strategic priorities for the state. Prior to joining DHSS, Katie began her career with the State of Missouri in 2008 where she worked in the Food and Nutrition Services Section at the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. Katie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Dietetics and a Master of Business Administration.
