Brad Gerling joined the Missouri Department of Commerce and Insurance full-time in 2014, having already completed two summer internships with the department. Currently, he serves as a data analyst producing insurance industry reports and dashboards that benefit Missouri's consumers, insurance carriers, and regulators. His team is responsible for the data collection, analysis, and reporting that measures the performance of Missouri's insurance marketplace. Previously, Brad worked with the department's actuaries in reviewing rate filings and with the market conduct section performing market conduct examinations. He is a 2014 graduate of Truman State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Physics.
