Mindy is the Deputy Director of the Missouri State Public Health Laboratory. Mindy has been with the Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS) since 2010 and was the Testing Section Manager at the Missouri State Public Health Laboratory (MSPHL). Where Mindy oversaw the daily administration and operation of the Microbiology, Molecular, Virology, Newborn Screening, Immunology, Environmental Bacteriology, Breath Alcohol, and Chemistry disciplines of the laboratory. Mindy is highly involved with continuous improvement efforts by completing the DHSS Lean Six Sigma Team through Dartmouth University in 2020. Mindy, a lifelong Missouri resident, holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Lincoln University and added Black Belt Certification in 2023.
