Fatality Review Coordinator and Disaster Services Planner

Heather Osborne currently serves as the Fatality Review Coordinator and Disaster Services Planner for the Department of Mental Health where she is responsible for administrative oversight and coordination of the DMH Fatality Review Panel, trainings and other activities related to the death review process for DMH consumers. She also assists the DMH Office of Disaster Services with disaster planning activities While in Missouri Leadership Academy Heather served as the Director of Treatment Services for Southeast Missouri Mental Health Center-Adult Psychiatric Services. She has been with the Department of Mental Health since 2011, where she started out as a ward therapist. Heather has a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education and a master’s degree in clinical counseling, both from Central Methodist University. She also holds a graduate certificate in Gerontology from the University of Missouri-Columbia. She is a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and a certified Master Change Leader.
