Katie Hansen joined the Division of Finance in 2011 and currently serves as a Senior Bank Examiner III. She works within a team to ensure the safety and soundness of state-chartered financial institutions, thus safeguarding the funds of depositors and maintaining public confidence in Missouri’s financial system. Additionally, she serves as the Division’s Culture Committee Chair, a group dedicated to promoting a fair, positive, and transparent work environment. During her tenure with the division, she has been a training coordinator and Engage 2.0 Personnel Development Program Trainer. She graduated from Drury University in Springfield, Missouri in 2010 with a Bachelor of Business Administration, and in 2021 earned her Master of Industrial and Organizational Psychology degree from Purdue University Global. She is a certified Life and Health Coach, loves helping others thrive, and is committed to operational excellence and improvement.
