Bio

Taylor currently serves as the department's assistant communications director. In this role, she oversees the various communications managers and statewide functions at MoDOT. This includes coordinating statewide customer service efforts and performing a variety of other tasks to implement effective internal and external communications strategies. Taylor has been with the Department of Transportation since shortly after her graduation in 2017, and served as a communications manager in the Central Office during her time in the Missouri Leadership Academy. Taylor holds a Bachelor of Journalism from the Missouri School of Journalism, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from the University of Missouri.

Taylor’s biggest takeaway from Missouri Leadership Academy is you cannot be afraid to dig beyond the first "why?" to find the root of a challenge.
