As a Benefits Program Supervisor, Krista Allison is responsible for a team of claims specialists in the Kansas City Regional Claims Center. The team works directly with unemployed citizens of Missouri. Krista has been with the Department of Labor since 2008. She was 22 years old at the time of accepting the position and unemployment was at an all-time high due to the economy. She started as a Claims Specialist and has worked her way up to Benefit Program Supervisor. She was involved with the implementation of the online unemployment filing system, UInteract. She was also was involved in the Department’s Claims Manual re-write.
