Emily started her career with the Department of Natural Resources Air Pollution Control Program in 2001 as a construction permit writer before turning her focus on air quality planning issues in 2013. Emily currently serves as the Air Quality Planning Section Chief for the Air Pollution Control Program, where she oversees the program’s rulemaking actions and State Implementation Plan revisions. In this position, she collaborates with EPA, other state agencies, and the public to implement air quality regulations for the State of Missouri. Emily holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Missouri-Columbia and is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Missouri.
