Rebecca serves as the Water Pollution Biologist for the Missouri Department of Conservation. In this role she coordinates an interagency state-wide response program for aquatic animal mortality events and provides technical expertise and water quality analysis for the agency’s needs. Rebecca has worked for the Department of Conservation since 2009. Throughout her tenure at the Department, she has enjoyed developing and implementing strategic plans through cross-divisional, interagency, and interstate work teams. She earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Fisheries and Wildlife from the University of Missouri. She studied nutrients and fecal bacteria in Lake of the Ozarks for her master’s thesis research.
