Jason currently serves as the Strategic Operations Coordinator with the responsibility of improving agency efficiency and quality by introducing TQM. Jason began working for the Division of Employment Security in 2002. Jason attended the MLA while serving as a Regulatory Auditor Supervisor. An avid student of Lean, Theory of Constraints, and Six Sigma.
Jason’s biggest takeaway from Missouri Leadership Academy, identifying the actual problem is key. Anomalies are indicators not necessarily problems in their own right. When an anomaly occurs, such as a drop in response volume, we shouldn't look for ways to boost the numbers but identify why it dropped. Why it dropped is the real problem to focus on.
