Bio

Dana has worked for the State of Missouri for 22+ years and currently serves as the Human Resources Director for the Department of Labor & Industrial Relations. Dana oversees all the HR functions for the Department such as recruitment & retention, interviewing, hiring, payroll, benefits, discipline, and professional development. She also provides leadership, guidance, policy interpretation and advice to management on equal employment opportunity and civil rights compliance matters and other HR related employment laws. Dana previously served as the Employee Relations Director at the Department of Natural Resources and other various HR roles for 20 years. Additionally, she has served as the Co-Coordinator for DNR’s Critical Incident Stress Management Team, is a certified mediator from the University of Missouri and certified in Interviewing & Interrogation.
