As Director of Operational Excellence, Carla engages with staff across the department to foster continuous improvement processes and service enhancement by focusing on ways to improve the way work is done. Through the Placemat Steering Committee and in collaboration with department leadership, Carla’s focus is on the development and execution of department priorities through planning, prioritizing, and delivering achievable projects that advance the department’s long-term vision. She joined the department in January 2021, and is personally and professionally motivated to seek the best in all she encounters. Values and mission driven, Carla enjoys helping others achieve their goals. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from William Woods University.
