Bio

Virginia is a Benefit Program Senior Specialist for the Division of Employment Security (DES). She provides technical experience and training for frontline staff. She is a resource for solving complex issues related to unemployment claims. She has been with DES for three years but has been with the State for 11 years. Prior to her start with DES, she was with the Missouri Military Funeral Honors Program for eight years and served in the Army National Guard for 10 years. She has a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in sociology with a minor in psychology.
