Bio

Cheryl Alonzo joined the Missouri Gaming Commission staff in 2000 as a compliance auditor. She has held several audit positions at the Commission until her appointment as Assistant Director, Compliance in 2012. Cheryl provides management oversight for the areas of casino tax audit, compliance audit, table games, internal controls, bingo, and fantasy sports contests. Cheryl has both a bachelor’s degree in business and a master’s degree from the University of Missouri – Columbia. She is a Certified Internal Auditor and currently sits on the Institute of Internal Auditors’ Gaming Audit Advisory Board.
