Mike joined the Missouri Department of Corrections team 21 years ago and currently serves as the Facilities Director in the Central Office Construction Unit. In this role, he is responsible for managing the Department’s capital improvement projects and six-year capital improvement plan. Mike leads the Construction Unit team, the Heavy Equipment/Construction crew, and the Cook Chill Maintenance team. Mike and his teams work directly with institutions across the state on in-house construction projects, utility reduction measures, and maintenance issues. Prior to his current position, Mike held the Energy Management Coordinator position at Central Office, and multiple maintenance positions in four separate Correctional facilities.
