Jacob serves as Deputy General Counsel for the Department of Natural Resources. He manages four attorneys and the Custodian of Records, and provides legal advice to the Department on a variety of topics including funding, operations, personnel matters, environmental regulation, energy policy, and property management. Jacob coordinates the other Department attorneys and their respective programs to break down silos and assist with internal policy guidance and clarity. Prior to joining DNR in 2018, Jacob worked at the Public Service Commission, and before that, the Missouri Attorney General’s Office.
