Bio

As a Personnel Officer, Jamie works hand-in-hand with Division Directors and managers across the Department of Economic Development to recruit and hire new team members, along with provide continuous HR support in the areas of benefits, professional development, payroll and compensation/classification. Prior to joining the HR team, Jamie spent three years working with the DED Communications & Marketing team, where she was responsible for writing and editing custom content for videos, newsletters, blogs and other media marketing pieces. Jamie holds a Bachelor of Arts in English, along with an MBA in Human Resource Management, from Columbia College.
