Kim serves as the Division Director for Federal Initiatives, leading the team responsible for DED's deployment of ARPA funding, monitoring federal opportunities, and administering projects funded through legislative appropriations. During her time in MLA, Kim served as an Incentive Specialist in the Department of Economic Development’s Business & Community Solutions Division, administering community development programs, including the Neighborhood Assistance and Youth Opportunities programs, for nonprofits and local governments across the state. She also led the Workforce Strategic Initiative for DED and acted as the lead contact for the Department’s Community Disaster Recovery Support Function (RSF). Since graduating MLA, Kim promoted to DED's Community Programs Manager, and later to division deputy for DED's Federal Initiatives team.
