Jimmy serves as the Administrator of Grain Inspection Services for the Department of Agriculture. This program operates three field offices and provides inspection services to grain companies, farmers, and crop insurance companies throughout the state. He began his employment with Agriculture in 1993, working as a Feed Chemist in the department’s Feed Control Laboratory, was later promoted to Program Coordinator of the department’s Forest Resources Program, and assumed his current role as Administrator of Grain Inspection in 2010. He earned his Bachelor of Science at Southeast Missouri State University and received his Master in Public Administration from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
