As an Unemployment Insurance Auditor in Kansas City with the Division of Employment Security, Janissa audits and investigates employer financial books and records, collects delinquent taxes, conducts claimant interviews, and reviews division documents to ensure compliance with Employment Security Law. She previously served as Claims Specialist III, and volunteered to be a part of the A-Team to assist the Jefferson City Regional Claim Center. Janissa previously served on the board of Dreams to Reality, a non-profit organization in Jefferson City, which assists women of the community in transition.
