Bio

Shartina currently serves as a Special Assistant to the Director of the Missouri Department of Social Services. Her responsibilities include a focus on creating stronger team relations among DSS employees, customer experience and external relations. Shartina is a frequent speaker at workshops and conferences, and is noted for her passion to serve Missourians with respect and dignity. Shartina strives to provide support to team members and leaders as they empower Missouri citizens to live safe, healthy and productive lives to live safe healthy and productive lives. Shartina has served with The Department of Social Service since June 2006. While in Missouri Leadership Academy, Shartina was in the role of Assistant Program Administrator with Family Support Division and promoted to Program Administrator shortly thereafter.
