As the Program Coordinator for the Missouri Department of Agriculture, Bureau of Feed, Seed and Treated Timber, Jacob manages the Seed Control Laboratory, and oversees the implementation of the Animal Food Regulatory Program Standards (AFRPS) and FDA contract work for the feed inspection program. Prior to serving the State of Missouri, Jacob spent over 20 years in the food and beverage industry managing restaurants, commercial kitchens and a winery, vineyard and bistro. As an active duty member of the United States Air Force (USAF) from 1987 to 1991, he deployed during Desert Shield/Desert Storm.
