Kylie is the Missouri’s Homeland Security Director. As Homeland Security Director she is part of a leadership team committed to ensuring the safety of the citizens of Missouri. In her role she coordinates homeland security programs and federal grants that focus on counterterrorism, critical infrastructure protection, law enforcement information sharing, active threat training, prevention of cyber-attacks and support for local emergency responders and law enforcement during catastrophic disasters, natural and man-made. She has worked for the Missouri Department of Public Safety for 27 years. Before becoming Homeland Security Director she served in other roles in DPS divisions, including the Missouri Gaming Commission as a Criminal Intelligence Analyst in which she coordinated intelligence and investigative information to combat organized crime and a Gaming Enforcement Manager where she enforced regulations relating to gambling, security and surveillance. During her tenure at the Missouri State Highway Patrol, she served as a Criminal Justice Information Services Auditor and Trainer ensuring compliance with policies regarding access and usage of MSHP and United States Department of Justice criminal history record information. Kylie holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice Administration and is a graduate of the State of Missouri Leadership Academy. She serves as the coordinator of the Regional Homeland Security Oversight Committee Chairs and is Vice-Chair of the Missouri Homeland Security Advisory Council.
