Wendy Kempker-West serves as the Director of Operations and Chief Clerk for the Office of the Missouri Secretary of State. In this role, she supports operational functions across multiple divisions with an emphasis on efficiency. She serves as the official Custodian of Records, ensuring compliance with the Missouri Sunshine Law and transparency in government. Prior to joining the Secretary of State’s Office, Wendy spent more than a decade in senior operations leadership roles, leading significant process improvement efforts. Her background includes managing large teams, streamlining workflows, and leading projects involving multiple departments during periods of major organizational change. Her work focuses on operational effectiveness and providing strong public service.
