James has served in the Developmental Disabilities field for over 20 years. He started out as a direct support staff, he was a Support Coordinator for 11 years, worked as a member of the Tiered Supports Team for a year and is currently serving as a Utilization Review Coordinator for the Joplin and Springfield Regional Offices. James is originally from Belleville, IL, but has lived in the Joplin area since 2004. He received his Bachelor of Biblical Literature and Psychology from Ozark Christian College with continued education courses in human Services at Missouri Southern State University.
