Dishon joined the Department of Mental Health in 2013. He is currently a DMH Way Supervisory Specialist, where he conducts 1-on-1 consultations to assist DMH employees in the Eastern Region of Missouri to embody the DMH Way pillars of “Stronger Working Relationships, Better Engagement, and More Fulfillment in our Roles.” Dishon spent much of his DMH career as Staff Development Training Manager for the three St. Louis Habilitation Centers. Prior to that role, he served a Training Specialist for supervisory/managerial skills as well as an Investigations Unit Investigator/Program Specialist. Dishon holds a Bachelor of Arts in Social Thought and Analysis from Washington University, as well as a Master of Arts in Theological Studies, and a Master of Arts in Counseling from Covenant Theological Seminary.
