Nicole Sinderman joined the Department of Health and Senior Services team in 2022. She currently serves as the manager of the Tobacco Prevention and Control Program, where she oversees evidence-based strategies to reduce the burden of tobacco-related death and disease in our state. Before state service, Nicole worked for the United States Department of State with the Bureau of Consular Affairs and the Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs. She also served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Ukraine. Nicole received her Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from the University of Missouri – Columbia and is currently working toward a Master of Public Health degree with the University of Missouri – Columbia.
