Erin Morris serves as the Director of Educator Preparation in the Office of Educator Quality at the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. Erin joined the Department in August 2023 after a decade working in K-12 education as a teacher and school counselor. In her current role, Erin is responsible for communication with Missouri’s 41 Educator Preparation Providers and collaboration with various stakeholders invested in Missouri’s future educators. She helps lead statewide initiatives and provide support that influence meaningful improvements in Missouri’s teacher workforce. Erin holds a Master of Education in Counseling and Bachelor of Science in Education from Lincoln University.
