Brad Schaefer serves as the supervisor of design for the Office of Administration, Facilities Management Design and Construction. He joined the department in 2019 and has over two decades of experience as an Architect coordinating design and construction projects. Brad currently leads a team of dedicated design professionals, engineers, and interior designers to implement design solutions for a variety of State agencies. Prior to State service, he worked in the private sector as an Architect both in Kansas City and locally. A native of Jefferson City, Brad received his Bachelor of Architecture and a Minor in Global Studies from Drury University in Springfield, Missouri. Brad holds a professional license from the Missouri Board of Architects and Engineers and is a member of the American Institute of Architects.
