John serves as the district design engineer for the southwest district of the Department of Transportation, a position he has served in for over six years. He joined the department in 2000, where he has held several jobs and gained more than 25 years of experience in the transportation industry. John leads the timely and budget-constrained design of highway projects, including plans, specifications and estimates to maintain and improve our state transportation system. John received both his bachelors and masters of science degree in Civil Engineer from the Missouri School of Science and Technology and is a licensed professional engineer.
