Andrea joined the Department of Social Services team in 2023 as a Community Engagement Specialist in the Office of Workforce and Community Initiatives (OWCI), serving the St. Louis region. Since 2024, she has served as a Program Coordinator on the OWCI Community Engagement Team, where she leads a team of Community Engagement Specialists serving 29 counties across Missouri. Before joining the State of Missouri, Andrea worked as a Senior Operations Manager and Mortgage Loan Originator at two fintech startups, traveled nationwide as an event coordinator, and taught middle school science, math, and technology in Title I schools. She also has over 25 years of experience in the restaurant industry. Andrea earned her Juris Doctor from Tulane University Law School and holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from Maryville University in St. Louis.
