Bio

In her role, Alison serves as the Director of Outreach at the Missouri Department of Higher Education and Workforce Development, where she oversees the Journey to College Program. This program primarily supports Missouri high school counselors in supporting their students by providing free tools and resources, presentations, and FAFAS support. Before joining DHEWD, Alison worked directly with high school students in both St. Louis and Nashville as they navigated their senior years. Alison holds a B.A. in Sociology from Truman State University and her Master of Public Policy with an emphasis in Education Policy from Vanderbilt University.
