As a policy advisor for the executive team, Jaime has years of experience shaping department policy and resolving key issues that have the potential to impact the agency. She also leads and supports priority initiatives that focus primarily on environmental and regulatory topics. Jaime joined the department in 2014. Prior to her current role, she served as an environmental program supervisor in the Water Protection Program and managed complex environmental compliance matters in the Air Pollution Control Program. Throughout her career, Jaime has collaborated with external agencies and stakeholders, has taken initiative in streamlining and improving processes and has been a mentor and advocate for team member development. Jaime holds an Associate of Applied Science in Forestry from Northeastern Oklahoma A&M and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from Drury University.
