Captain Joe Armistead

Joe Armistead has worked for the State of Missouri for the past 28 years, 23 of those with the Missouri State Highway Patrol, where he is currently a Captain and Division Director over the Training Division. Previously in his career with the Patrol, Joe was assigned as the Director over the Budget and Procurement Division and as the Director over the Professional Standards Division. Joe is a 2014 graduate of Northwestern University School of Police Staff and Command (SPSC) #364 and attended Police Leadership West Point Model (PLWM) school in 2019. Joe earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Southeast Missouri State University, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from William Woods University.
