Before working for the State of Missouri, Department of Labor and Industrial Relations, Division of Labor Standards, Whitney’s professional experience was in the private sector, where she primarily focused on emerging markets, new business development, and creating and implementing processes and procedures to ensure the successful operation of those businesses. Currently, Whitney serves as the Program Manager of Research and Analysis. She manages a federal-state-funded grant for the Injuries, Illnesses, and Fatalities (IIF) Program alongside the Bureau of Labor Statistics. This program uses Occupational Safety and Health Statistics (OSHS) to complete the annual collection of The Survey of Occupational Injuries and Illnesses (SOII) and the Census of Fatal Occupational Injuries (CFOI) for the State of Missouri. Whitney leads a small team of analysts to collect and disseminate occupational injury, illness, and fatality data. Whitney holds an MBA and BSBA 5 Majors: Marketing, Management, HR Management, Finance, and International Business.
