Bio

Rick Duplissie joined the Missouri Arts Council as Deputy Director in October 2022. He is a dedicated arts administrator with documented achievements in developing brand identity and stewarding relationships with key stakeholders. He has two decades of experience in non-profit management, audience development, producing new stage work, data mining, and planning large-scale events. He combines a strong business background with a keen instinct for arts partnership, born out of organizational communication and strategic planning. Prior to Missouri Arts Council, Rick was a school administrator at the Alabama School of Fine Arts and was then the General Manager of the new Kirkwood Performing Arts Center. Rick holds a Bachelor’s degree in Theatre from Culver Stockton College and a Master’s degree in Fine Art from Western Illinois University.
