Jon currently serves as a Troop Lieutenant with the Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop E Headquarters in Poplar Bluff. In his current role, he oversees enforcement zones and the communications division and is assigned as the Executive Officer in Troop E. Jon, a lifelong Missouri resident, is a graduate of Caruthersville High School and holds a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau. Prior to joining the Highway Patrol in 1996, Jon served for several years as a deputy sheriff in Pemiscot County.
