In March 2024, Missy will be celebrating 24 years of service with the department. As the Administrator of License Offices Bureau, she oversees a team that manages contracts for 174 contracted license offices that employee over 1,300 employees, which provide motor vehicle and driver licensing services to Missourians. Under her leadership, 89 license offices have been awarded a new contract, reducing the number of offices on extensions. Ensuring training license office personnel has been made a top priority to ensure accuracy and reduce error rates for our constituents while developing a professional and fair contract compliance program that focuses on supporting and training the license offices has provided consistent office observations and clearer communications. Since 1998, Missy developed a two-day annual conference that provided workshops and training for license office staffing. She is excited to learn from other leaders, which will bring new improvements and opportunities for her team.
